SPOTLIGHT: Ari Blatt

Ari Blatt, who wrote “JUST A LITTLE NATURAL TRAGEDY,” for the Winter 2026 issue of Eleventh Hour, is teaching a weekend writing workshop with the Hoffman Center for the Arts in Oregon on March 21 titled “Writing from the Perspectives of the More-than-Human World.” 

Her short stories have been nominated for the 2026 Best Small Fictions anthology prize through Alt Current Press, as well as longlisted for Uncharted Magazine’s What the Wild Carries Prize. She is a co-founder and editor for the publication Tethered Literary. Blatt also teaches creative writing through Oregon Coast Community College’s Community Education offerings.
