Eleventh Hour Literary wishes to extend a heartfelt congratulations to one of our contributors, Matthew James Babcock, author of The Golden Age of Distraction and Then The Summer. It was recently announced that Avalon Park Press has named him the winner of their inaugural 2025 Forsberg Prize for Fiction for his collection, Future Perfect.
These short stories explore the complexities of human relationships and the passing of time. Each story considers milestones of life: childhood, growing up, adulthood and death.
